With well-proven reliability, our Geostuff BHG-3 three-axis borehole geophone allows for rapid and accurate downhole V_S and V_P to depths of up to 50 m.

Via the BHGC-1B geophone controller, the reliable clamp mechanism engages a spring against the side of a PVC cased borehole to anchor the geophone at the correct depths. Once clamped, and internal servo mechanism aligns the horizontal geophones towareds north, or whichever azimuth is desired.

This is the newly updated version which has been minaturised and now fits inside standard 50 mm PVC well casing

Results are recorded in SEG-2 format on our compact PASI GEA24 seismograph
